OnePoint SD is a one stop shop for attracting & connecting skilled trades talent across a broad range of industries including manufacturing, production, warehouse operations, energy and construction. Our team has worked successfully on short term projects as well as long term/maintenance and support assignments.

Skilled Trades College Partnership

OnePointSDs’ exclusive partnership with Skilled Trades College (STC) has been an important investment and step to curb the skilled labour shortage within the labour market.

STC was opened to meet the demand for Construction apprentices that the industry was clearly lacking. STC has 4 locations in Vaughan, Mississauga, Toronto East, and Ajax.

OnePointSDs’ goal:

  1. Market STC programs to the labour market and educate them on career movement
  2. Ensure 100% employability after graduation
  3. DEI initiatives to attract and grow diverse workers to the industry

STC programs includes:

  • Construction and Maintenance Electrician Pre-Apprentice
  • Plumbing Pre-Apprenticeship
  • Introduction to Home Renovation
